Bay Area Entertainment and Apparel company Alchemetric LLC is proud to announce the arrival of their gripping new Hip-Hop compilation CD & DVD titled Underground Overstood. This multimedia collection features exclusive tracks by numerous underground heavyweights such as Kool G Rap, EDO G, Doodlebug, R.E.K.S. and plenty of other name brand artists. Underground Overstood also comes with a DVD featuring never before seen footage and interviews with artists such as Immortal Technique, Kool G Rap, DJ Red Alert, EDO G, Aceyalone, Tajai from Souls of Mischief, and Pep Love.

Founded in 2002, Alchemetric started as a production company in New Jersey called aptly Jersey Roots Productions. An independent promotion/booking company, their main objective has been to present live events that are musically, socially, and politically astute. By targeting the New York City market, Alchemetric has worked with such acclaimed NYC venues as The Knitting Factory, SOB's, BB King's, The Lions Den, South Paw, and more. It has focused mainly on established artists who have made an impact on Hip Hop culture, and has organized and promoted events throughout the country showcasing an array of talent. The experience and vision acquired working with these gifted artists paved the road to the current project, Underground Overstood.

Underground Overstood is a Hip Hop compilation CD/DVD laced with both classic and contemporary artists from the genre. It was compiled over the past few years while simultaneously producing live Hip Hop events with many of the same artists featured on the project. The bond that was created during the creation of this CD/DVD is not unlike the kinship of a family. Included with the physical CD release is a DVD chock full of live performances and interviews, featuring many of the artists on the CD, along with a few extra special ones included!

Alchemetric is a lifestyle brand with a simple philosophy based upon Sacred Geometry; this philosophy encompasses the notion that all things are connected through shape and form. Instead of focusing on the differences amongst each other and all things, this considers the similarities inherent throughout, from our solar system to our own molecules. It is with this philosophy in mind that Alchemetric fuses three creative outlets: Fashion, Live Events and the Recording/Release of new music. Through these fundamental expressions of modern culture, Alchemetric hopes to share its vision of unity throughout Hip Hop, and Underground Overstood is the genesis of this campaign.
