For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.

I used to hope for things before I was saved, but once I learned what God did for us in Jesus Christ, I only hope for Jesus to come. When I think about this passage, I think about the earthly material items I'd like to acquire while I'm alive in my flesh. I don't hope for them anymore because I see and know what it is. All I have to do is figure out how to get it, but hope in a New Jerusalem and an eternal life in a paradise created by God has changed my lifestyle. Its so easy to believe and hope for what I cannot see because 20 years ago I could not of imagined where I would be today in life and definitely would not of imagined where our society is today.

God wants you to be part of His family. All you have to do in order for Him to adopt you is ask and then listen. It's that easy, why don't you try it. What's great about His family are the rules never change.

I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makes me dwell in safety. (Psalm 4:8)

The Lord will give strength unto His people; the Lord will bless His people with peace, (Psalm 29:11)

Indeed the Lord has blessed His people, the Christian nation. Ask any Christian and you will see and hear a peace in them like no other person. There are a lot of people who claim Christianity and are not in peace but that goes against God's way and the teachings of Christ. Life is short, make the eternal choice and watch the floodgates of heaven open up before your eyes. God gave us His Son in the mist of our un-worthiness. All we have to do is listen.

And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know Him that is true, and we are in Him that is true, even in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. (1 John 5:20)

The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the Lord that seek Him: your heart shall live for ever. (Psalm 22:26)

And this is the record, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. (1 John 5:11)

Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that hears My word, and believes on Him that sent me, has everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. (John 5:24)

Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believes on me has everlasting life. (John 6:47)
