Why God:

Because He gives me oxygen to breath, water, food, activity of my limbs, my right hand, a mind to think and calculate things, power to obtain wealth, favor, perfect peace, a wife and family. He keeps my body whole and healed, and extends this insurance to my children and family, and if by chance the insurance does lapse, He has provided an additional universal health plan, for by His stripes we are healed. He leads me in the path of righteousness, happiness, and opens doors no man can close, and shuts doors no man can open. He has made me the head and not the tail, places me above and not beneath, a lender and not a borrower. He has included me in His perfect plan and keeps me in a protected sphere and on a path to a eternal paradise. And if I live right, He has the best retirement package ever and it comes with eternal life, streets paved with gold and a mansion that is within a complex of many mansions.

Proverbs (NRSV)

A good name in the eyes of the Lord is all you need in life. Everything else will fall into place.

Genesis 12

The U.S is the number one supporter of Israel and according to this scripture, we are blessed because of that. The countries that bless Israel are blessed.

The greatest commandment as people of God is love.

Leviticus 19:18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the Lord.

Deuteronomy 6:5 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

This morning my son smacked his sister while they were playing. I told him he was wrong for what he did and to apologize to her. The apology became a problem for him and he was punished for it. He wasn't punished for the act, but for not apologizing. This is the same concept in our everyday lives. This is the reason why Jesus was crucified for mankind. Our sin is in the acts we do but the punishment is not asking for forgiveness through Jesus the Christ. The one guarantee you have is that you will perish one day. So when your time is up, you will account to God for your sins knowingly and un-knowingly. If you confess them as they happen to Jesus, you can save yourself from God's wrath and the Bible says God will cast your sins to the depths of the sea. So you already have victory in your judgment, and having Jesus in your life gives you a life of victory with God!

What can we trust in? Man amends his laws as needed but God's word, plan and way has not and will not change. Are you going to limit your salvation to the knowledge that you have? Or by what a preacher or a holy person said? My ways are limited to my few years of knowledge and experience. I trust in the Word and can only fully understand it by reading it for myself. It was the same word that the apostles took to the world and it was around before me and will be the same after I leave for the heavenly kingdom.

Matthew 13:16 But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear;

We are all God's creation and He wants all of us to receive our crown when we go into the next life. Jesus said that once He leaves His flesh, He will send us the Holy Spirit to comfort us. In any normal day we usually run into encounters that gives us a choice. For instance, when you see a real homeless person, a voice comes in your head that your going to help him/her or the voice says, he's a drug addict and I'm not going to give him anything. When you throw trash away, the same voice says to throw it in a trash can while another might say, throw it on the ground, the city is already dirty and street cleaning will clean it up. Your given a choice between good and evil in our most simplistic daily lives.

Matthew 13:19 When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside.

Have you ever had the urge to go to church or felt guilty because you haven't attended in some time, and then before you actually decide to go a voice in your head will give you numerous reasons on why not to go. If so, the Holy Spirit and a demon has spoken to you. But thanks be to God for the Bible and His presence in our lives that we can hear the difference between an angel and a demon.

Ephesians 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

The next time your arguing or yelling at someone that you don't really know, try to keep this scripture in mind. When someone cuts you off while your driving and your rage wants to strangle that person, remember he's not your enemy, it's the devil getting in your head. The book of Job says that the devil walks amongst the earth with us daily. Are you prepared to fight him off?

Matthew 12:43 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. 44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth [it] empty, swept, and garnished. 45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last [state] of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.

Any saved Christian can testify to these scriptures. When you finally decide to go the path of God and save your soul, you will cast out the demon in you. That angers Satan and he will come back at you seven fold so be prepared to put on the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-20), so you can properly fight him off through God's word and the Holy Spirit. We as humans stand no chance against the powers of the dark side but with God's help we can overcome the dark path to Hades.

Ephesians 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

On a few occasions I've had family and friends inquire about my belief and to there surprise I told them that I am a child of God before anything. That was disturbing to my questioner's as they insisted I was born Armenian. This is true but I also have had a second birth into the kingdom of heaven and always put God first.

Matthew 22:36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment.

No dis-respect to my Armenian brothers and sisters because I am still 100% Armenian but as a follower of God's word, I am a Christian first before anything human.

Mark 16:6 And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: He is risen; He is not here: behold the place where they laid him.

No one knows where the actual burial place is for Jesus Christ. There are a few speculations but no actual proof of his remains. The reason for that is because He sits at the right hand of God interceding prayers for all who believe in Him.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by me. 7If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know Him, and have seen Him.

The Christian faith, the way of God, should not be intertwined with the history of so-called Christian men. The actions in history are not necessarily the way of God. Only through the Bible can you learn the truth about God's plan. A lot of men have used God's name for something utter than saving people's souls, but one of the reason's the Bible was written was for that purpose.

Last I checked and according to all statistics, the mortality rate for humans is still 100%. Why not go for the best plan for mankind and make that leap of faith towards the kingdom of heaven and maybe one day this Psalm can refer to you too.

Psalms71:20 Thou, which hast shewed me great and sore troubles, shalt quicken me again, and shalt bring me up again from the depths of the earth.

tithing for a Christian

Psalm 24:1 The earth is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. (everything on this earth belongs to the Lord, even what we think we work hard for)

1 Peter

2:5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, God’s own people; that ye should show fourth the praises of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light: (all Christians who follow the scriptures are priests to some extent)

23:23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cumin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. (Jesus said to have mercy and faith BUT, not to leave the old ways, meaning tithing)

1 Corinthians

16:1 Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye.

16:2 Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come. (Paul reminds the churches to continue to give and instructs when they should give.)

12:41 And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much.
12:42 And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing.
12:43 And He called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury:

12:44 For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living. (tithing alone doesn't get you into heaven but it is required to some extent. The church needs support in various formats in order to survive and spread the Word. Money always helps, but you can donate time, expertise, equipment, knowledge, experience, etc. Always remember who Jesus said cast more into the treasury. A Christian should willfully give more than ten percent of what he or she has to God.)

9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,
Philippians 2

This passage is suggesting that every knee should bow to the name of Jesus. It’s the best suggestion one can get because sooner or later every knee WILL bow to Jesus but only those who willfully bow, while there in their flesh, will receive the glory of God’s kingdom. Many people had and continue to have great knowledge on how to live better and be in peace with oneself. We strive for a better world and peace amongst nations but as we can see it’s not happening the way we would like it too. There are numerous organizations around the world helping nations and people out, but without Jesus in your life, your struggle will go in vain.

If you don’t know God’s plan for humankind, I suggest you learn it and that can only happen by studying God’s word, the Bible. He gave you a brain and the breath that you breathe so why not read His word with it. It would be the best thing you ever did for yourself, by far.

tithe NOUN:
A tenth part of one's annual income contributed voluntarily or due as a tax, especially for the support of the clergy or church.
The institution or obligation of paying tithes.

Giving is to be based on first having given oneself to the Lord and in proportion to love (2 Cor. 8: 5, 8)

On your day of judgment, only you will be responsible for your beliefs and the lifestyle you chose. No person, church, synagogue, mosque, temple, place of worship, religion or anything else but yourself will have to answer to God. He is Truth and Judgment and knows each and every ones heart and intentions. Not even Moses was able to see the promise of God because he didn't follow what God had told him. Learn the truth and the truth will set you free.

For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.

I used to hope for things before I was saved, but once I learned what God did for us in Jesus Christ, I only hope for Jesus to come. When I think about this passage, I think about the earthly material items I'd like to acquire while I'm alive in my flesh. I don't hope for them anymore because I see and know what it is. All I have to do is figure out how to get it, but hope in a New Jerusalem and an eternal life in a paradise created by God has changed my lifestyle. Its so easy to believe and hope for what I cannot see because 20 years ago I could not of imagined where I would be today in life and definitely would not of imagined where our society is today.

God wants you to be part of His family. All you have to do in order for Him to adopt you is ask and then listen. It's that easy, why don't you try it. What's great about His family are the rules never change.

final eternity

The Lord will give strength unto His people; the Lord will bless His people with peace, (Psalm 29:11)

Indeed the Lord has blessed His people, the Christian nation. Ask any Christian and you will see and hear a peace in them like no other person. There are a lot of people who claim Christianity and are not in peace but that goes against God's way and the teachings of Christ. Life is short, make the eternal choice and watch the floodgates of heaven open up before your eyes. God gave us His Son in the mist of our un-worthiness. All we have to do is listen.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. (Psalm 23:6)

The Lord knows the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever. (Psalm 27:18)

But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for He shall receive me. Selah. (Psalm 49:15)

So when this corruptible shall put on incorruptable, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brougt to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? (1 Corinthians 15:54,55)

I am the living bread which came down from heaven; if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is My flesh, which I give for the life of the world. (John 6:51)

And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know Him that is true, and we are in Him that is true, even in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. (1 John 5:20)

The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the Lord that seek Him: your heart shall live for ever. (Psalm 22:26)
