‘Salute’ is the 2nd single and sneak peak at the upcoming KingUnderground compilation, ‘Strata’ While most of the tracks on ‘Strata’ are instrumental, there are some standout rap performances on the compilation as well. Including a KU label return of Awon, on “Salute”.

The New York based emcee, once again kills another Yogisoul production, which also features Kristoffer Eikrem on trumpet. The Norwegian producer, Yogisoul sets the vibe with lofi elements, a perfect balance of synths and horns, complimented by its ear candy snare hit, which sets the table well for the precision of Awon’s delivery and crafty lyrics.
