L.A.-based rapper Chali 2na has announced the release of Fish Market Part Two, the second installment of his Fish Market series for Decon Records. Chali is joined on the record by compatriot DJ Dez Andres, returning to the classic pairing of MC and DJ.
The Fish Market series began as a mixtape of collaborations between 2na and the DJ, Chali tells CMJ. "Seeing that this could be an outlet for me to step out of the box and do whatever I wanted musically, I decided to continue the legacy," the rapper says. For Part Two, Chali stretches his baritone vocals over a varied framework of instrumentals and guest collaborations.
