Nathan Fake will release his fourth album Providence - his most personal and profoundly emotional work to date - via Ninja Tune on 10th March 2017. Crafted in the wake of a crippling two year spell of creative stagnation during which he was unable to compose any music at all, the esteemed British producer describes the record “as a massive step up both in my career and in my life in general… it felt like I’d come alive again”.
Providence also sees the British producer collaborate with vocalists for the first time, with none other than Prurient (aka Vatican Shadow / founder of Hospital Productions) and Raphaelle from Braids. Both arose from chance meetings in Geneva and Osaka as their tour schedules crossed. Emerging from this extended period of creative stagnation with renewed vigour and lust for life, Providence was recorded during the first six months of 2016 in Nathans home studio / living room. The meaning behind the title is two-pronged: on the one hand its a nod to the aforementioned Korg Prophecy synth that features so heavily on the record.
But on a deeper level it means guidance or divine guidance - not necessarily in a religious sense but more to be guided by a higher power - or more specifically to Nathan, music as therapy and a path out of a dark period in his life.

Pre-Orders
We try and offer as many upcoming projects available for pre-order when the releases have moved into production. However, due to the nature of manufacturing and production, pre-order dates may change. If your pre-ordered items are holding your package from arriving please email us with a request to ship the in-stock items and pre-orders when they become available.
If your order contains pre-order items we will hold the package until all titles are available to ship. Please specify in the comments section of the checkout if you would like to: a) hold your entire order until it can be entirely fulfilled or, b) have the in-stock items shipped immediately and the pre-ordered items ship when available. Please note that option B may require additional shipping charges as multiple packages will be shipped.
Out of Stock Items
Our stock rapidly changes and we try and set in place a system that avoids purchasing items that become out of stock. However, if a product ordered is out of stock or on back-order, we will reach out and give you the chance to change or cancel your order. If you choose to cancel, you will be refunded in full.
Digital Items
If your order contains digital items you will receive a digital download link after checkout and it will also be sent to the email provided at checkout.
